I never really described Max, when he was up for adoption, since the "perfect home" was found for him. Max had been turfed from his home, said he was messing, I think he was making a statement, of his unhappiness, well that unhappiness has gone away, he now has such a wonderful home, I cannot say enough about this home, only that Max sleeps nestled in his new Mommy's arms, and her pain of losing her beloved dog a short time ago, was eased with this baby in her arms, and his neglected life forgotten forever...thank you Dorienne, residing in doggie heaven in Seattle, WA

Dino passed to the bridge Oct.8/08 after bravely fighting cancer..his Mom, Dad and doggie friends miss him greatly.

Dino is an 8yo Shih Tzu who recently was handed over to us due to his owner's allergies. He is a quiet, shy guy who is looking for love and attention. Dino is in good health but has a slight limp due to an old injury to his hind leg. He is undemanding in his personality, a little slow to trust new people and tolerates other dogs but can be quite shy initally and may hide from them. He has just started playing a bit with several other fosters...so there is hope this guy will come out of his shell and learn to relax and have fun...

Dino puts himself away in his own crate for his night time sleeps and has been excellent potty wise at his foster home...he has learned to use a doggy door as well...

A gentle soul, you can tell a lot of his personality just from his looks...he would benefit from having another calm, small dog friend, so he would not just spend every day waiting for attention when folks might be away for work, a dog friend to just hang out with..

Dino will be placed only with adults or families with older children because of his old leg injury. Quiet, gentle handling and surroundings will be the best for this shy but loving boy.
Dino was placed in an excellent home, who also helped get Punky below safely into rescue. Thank you Carrie, now residing in Seattle.

*this adorable boy passed away March 13/15 he leaves a big hole in his wonderful parents hearts*

Punky came into rescue, because his Mom went into assisted living, he is the most darling boy, who really doesn't like to be alone. He is now adopted to a great family, where he should be surrounded by many loving people. Residing in Tacoma, WA

Bryan has a way of looking at you, that makes you melt, and puts his paw on you, to say "pick me up"...he is a good hearted little boy, who just needs to find his special person, to love him always, he loves car rides, walks, and will be a very special companion to the right person...adult home only....
Bryan wound his paw right into his new Mom's heart, residing happily in Mount Lake Terrace, WA
