abandoned in the shelter in Oregon,
with the help of Jennifer from
Yorkie Rescue,
we were able to get her here
to safety..

sweetheart...now living in South Bellingham..she is going to be one VERY
spoiled lil girl.
Sept.16/02: Vicki (Teka's Mom) passed away from Cancer,
she was a wonderful lady, who I held very dear to my heart, she loved her lil
girl, and she will be missed by many.
Dear Vicki:
Thank you for being such a grand and compassionate lady, know that I will be
here always for Teka, if she needs me, till her time to join you at the
Bridge...Good bye my friend, your pain is now gone
*Teka has now joined Vicki in early '05...she was loved by Vicki's family until
she was ready to rejoin her Mom...
Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free
I'm following the path God laid for me
I took His hand when I heard Him call
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day, to laugh,
to love, to work or play.
Tasks undone must stay that way
I've found that peace at the close of the day.
If parting has left a void, then fill it
with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
Ah, yes, these things I too will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow

These boys are very bonded,

The boys were adopted
together and are living in Birch Bay. WA, a wonderful addition to
the families older ST for company.
Bogi
Bogi was dumped in the
shelter after his owner passed away and the family didn'twant him.
All his papers said Shih Tzu but I really think he is a ShihTzu/poodle...
He is pictured here with my
wonderful friend, who is involved with spaniel rescue. She
was my angel, as I was overrun with fosters, and she pitched in
and fostered him for me...he is now living in a great home in
Seattle, WA
Kiko (now known as Koko)
*Koko passed to the bridge from
complications of Cushings, Feb.8/2013*
This beautiful boy was found
abandoned, in terrible condition, he was put in the shelter and
slated for being put down, as he was so skittish he was deemed as
being non-adoptable.
My wonderful contact in CA
took a chance and got him out. He was and is a sweetheart, who,
once shown kindness, showed his true nature as a loving,
intelligent, happy furbaby..
He is now living a wonderful
life with a fellow rescue lady in Regina, Saskatchewan

Darling Snoopy passed to the bridge quietly Aug/2005 after fighting many medical
problems, he is dearly missed by his Mom and Dad

I received a call from my
Vet, needing to find placement for this adorable 9 1/2 year old
male Shih Tzu, they knew I would take him immediately.
His sad story, he was owned by an elderly couple, and the husband
had just died from cancer, the Mom, because of financial
difficulties, incurred from his death, had to move in temporarily
with her grown children. They said the "DOG HAS TO GO"
as they DID NOT want the responsibility of the dog. How
cruel are people, she lost her husband and than her furbaby...
Snoopy is in a wonderful
home now, adored by his new Mom and Dad, all they wanted was a
furbaby to love, which he needed very much. Happily
residing in Kelowna, B.C.
