So all your life, you have always wanted
a Fuzzy little ball of fur...
HERE I AM!!!!
I was wandering the streets of Oregon and
got picked up for vagrancy and they held me captive for 5 LONG days, THEN,
Wende from Furbaby Rescue, came and sprung me from Doggy Jail.
I was so happy to get out of jail, though
the people there treated me nicely, but I really wanted to be able to have a
warm blanket and lots of hugs and kisses.
I am just a baby, so I really need to go
to Puppy Kindergarten so that my manners can be honed to perfection. I sit
when asked and am a "HAM" for the camera. I am VERY photogenic,
don't you think?
I love to go for rides in the car and my
leash skills are good for a kid my age. I even will let you know that I need
to go outside, though I would love to have a doggie door to use. I need a
fenced yard so that I can play outside with you, do you like to play ball? I
sure do!!!!
If you have children over the age of
6years, I would love to be their friend and forever buddy. We could explore
the world of the yard together, I am VERY friendly. I give great kisses and
snuggle into your arms to sleep or just to be close to you.
Yes, Barnaby is a LOVE and will give you
years and years of JOY and HAPPINESS, to say nothing of lots of laughs, as
your relationship grows and matures.
Now residing with a good family in Vancouver, WA

Ben

Ben is without a doubt a loving, kind, gentle little boy. He is fabulous
with everyone. He is housetrained, he is a perfect little gentleman...his
temperament is so great, and so easy to be around. He is great in the car,
great on a leash, housetrained. He is perfect. And you may ask, why
is he here in rescue, simple...he has allergies, and under his chin and tummy he
is red, and ears sore. His previous owners did not want to deal with this,
so they dumped him in the shelter, and he was overlooked because people do not
want to work with his problems, just want to have the "perfect" dog,
well what a mistake they made, because Ben is the perfect dog..
At present, I am giving Ben medicated baths, and not knowing what he was fed, he
is on Natural Balance, and giving him antishistamines...I requested a thyroid
test, and will find out the results of this next week. Amazing but he does
not itch, or seem greatly affected by his allergies,....he is wonderful...and
what a lucky family when they bring this boy into their lives.
Ben lives with a wonderful Mom and Dad, and a beautiful Lhasa sister...and I am
told it was like Ben always lived there, they adore him, happily residing in
Birch Bay, WA

Minnie Mouse

A very sweet little furbaby is Minnie
Mouse.
Minnie Mouse is a product of a neglectful
owner who abandoned her in the house.
She has a Thyroid problem which is now on
the way to being under control with medicine, (Cost $20 a month), and
medicated baths.
As you can see by Minnie's picture she is
a bit fur challenged, but in time she will have her coat back and I believe
she will be even more beautiful than she already is.
You will also see she is fine with other
dogs, meet her new friend, Chunky Monkey, the Lab.
Minnie Mouse has some loss of sight and
possibly some hearing loss, (or she is just ignoring me?), which is
always a possibility.
She has good housetraining manners
and will alert you to her need to go out by barking and it is LOUD!!!
Riding in a car is no problem, walking on
a leash is another story. Minnie Mouse does not have a clue how to walk on a
leash, so she just plants her paws and STOPS cold. I think with a little
patience and love she could be taught to walk on a leash, possibly with a
harness as she is small.
Minnie has requested that cats not be in
her household as she does not know if she would like them and would rather not
have to find out.
Small children are also something that I
do not want for Minnie Mouse because of her size, though if they were to visit
on occasion, that would not be a problem.
Children over 10 years old would be
fine.

Chai is so adorable, her picture does not do her justice..one of the
cutest girls. Chai starts out being shy, but give her a couple of days, or in my
case one evening, and she blossoms, into a true loving, friendly, happy lil
girl... I do not think Chai has been used to the outdoors, so she wants to use a
pee pad, rather than venture outside, but with time, and good treats, she should
be fine, perhaps she did not like the cold climate that she originally came
from...Chai likes to play with my puppy, loves her chew toys, and will be a very
loving, happy easy going girl...but might be a bit "shy" to begin
with..it took me 6 hours to become her best friend..and I find that very
fast...I adore this girl, a family will be very lucky to have her in their
lives... No toddlers, as she gets frightened easily, at least now...
I want to say a special thanks to the
Prince George, SPCA, for contacting me, to help this adorable girl, and
realizing the great dog she is, and their concern for her well being...
