I will not leap into your heart, I will fly and land so quickly, you won't know what airport you are at, and you will wonder why it took you so long to arrive at my destination. I have very simple requests, I want someone who can devote themselves to me, love me to death, carry me, hold me, caress me and have a lap filled with love, and I only take a small space, so put me in your pocket when you get busy...I want someone around a lot, I don't think I will like being away from my person for long long hours, short hours are fine, but I need your lap...and will beg for it every time you turn around, so be prepared to be adored....so hurry up, foster Mom, says I am too cute...no I am absolutely adorable, I don't care if you are a man or a woman, I love you all...but my tiny size I want an adult only home....and besides I want to be spoiled, and not share with kids...
Darling Willie, went to a very special lady, who has helped Furbaby, with her time, in making beds, pads and many other things for our special dogs...living with a great Mom and Dad in Scio, Oregon...

* This darling boy, ended up having a serious back problem, and could no longer walk, every attempt was made to help him, eventually the sad decision was made to let him cross the bridge in '05...he is so missed by his Mom.

As you can see in the first picture, he is standing next to his foster sister, a Jack Russell, this is to give you an idea of his size. Wally was released to us, from the shelter, because when anyone would come and visit, he barked constantly, this is not who Wally is, this was being locked in a cage, with strangers staring at him, Jan from SSP Preferred Animal Care, just could not stand to see this little boy sit there any longer. Wally is a happy, friendly, warm loving and playful boy, who can be talkative...he would adore having his own wonderful loving home. Wally found a wonderful loving home in Birch Bay, WA

Will you love me enough to protect me? Because this is the only parents that I am looking for. People think I am so cute, they are forever trying to pet me, stick their hands in my face, and I will growl, and I will nip if you do that. Can you take care of me, and stop people from doing that? When you meet me, I may be apprehensive, but if you give me one day in your home, leave me alone, I will than charm my way totally into your heart. I will jump in your lap, give you kisses, and devote my soul to you...but will you understand that I take just a little time to do this?

You will want me, because I am a Bichon, but you need to want me enough to have some understanding of me. I have been shoved around, tossed around, flown here from Kansas, cause no one wants to take the time to get to know me. I fell in love with Foster Dad, in less than one hour, and Foster Mom, in the next few, cause they just let me get used to my home, all the dogs, and left me alone...and now I adore them. I would love to adore you too.

If you force yourself on me, I will not be your friend, but if you let me come to you, my devotion to you comes very quickly. Can you give me a chance? I love to play with other dogs and would do well with a doggy brother or sister. I can be a bit possessive of toys, treats and food with other dogs, but I just give my grouchy growl...

My name is my character, I am very Shy, my Mom gave me up, because she was ill, and realized she was unable to care for me, or to give me the ongoing socialization I needed. I am wonderful with other doggies, I grew up with ferrets, and like cats, I am absolutely not aggressive with any animal or person, but when you met me, you will have to understand how shy I am...once I am comfortable in your home, I promise I get better. She will do best if her new home, would take her out more, take her to puppy classes, just to be out in the world, and help her conquer some of her shyness. She will only be placed in an Adult home only, a busy home would not work well for her. She would love other dogs, big or small, and any other furbabies you may have, she likes them all...
ShyAnne went to a great home for her, who will take the time to socialize this lovely girl, and she has a greyhound buddy...residing in Battle Ground, WA

Bits is adorable, he wants to be held, petted, and with you, he certainly can fit in your pocket. Just to make it clear, this is a very small boy, he is very delicate, and will not be placed with children. He will love to be in a home with a Mom, Dad or both, another dog(s) will be just fine with him. He is very good natured, can be a little nervous in the beginning, but warms up very quickly if you give him your love...anxiously waiting for his perfect home.
And thank you PAWs for realizing what a special boy this is.

I am a gorgeous little Chihuahua princess and I will be a perfect companion for someone. I am well mannered, housebroken and I just want to be near you all the time. I will sit by your feet at the computer, or on a pillow or doggie bed close to you during the day, but I want to sleep under the covers with you at night.

Once I had a really good home but somehow I got lost. Then I was in doggie jail and it was so scary there, and I waited for my family but they didn't come for me so now I need a new home with somebody who will love me and keep me safe. I would really love to have someone home with me most of the time. I ge along well with other dogs and with friendly cats, but I don't like sudden movements so I need a home without young children. Everyone says I'm a very special little girl and I believe it.

Darling Eddy was at my vet's office, for his check up, this sweet boy was at the shelter, terrified. While at my vet, a friend walks in, looks at Eddy, and that was the end of that....he now has a wonderful home, with other beautiful doggie friends, and great Mom and Dad...thanks Tina and David, for providing the home Eddy always should have had....residing happily in Whatcom County, WA

Barney is a true gentleman with a quiet, aristocratic air about him. Barney came to us from a shelter that took an interest and notified us about this sweet natured dog when his previous owner went into an assisted living facility.

He is lower energy, quiet and undemanding dog but is appreciate of loving and affection and returns it nicely. He does not like lots of noise and activity, retreating into a corner or his crate, so a quiet adult household would be best for him.

Barney loves to just lay near you or on a soft floor pillow in the same room. Barney enjoys riding in a car and behaves well while doing so. He is friendly with people he meets and gets along with the other small dogs in his foster home, though he is shy of dogs his size or larger. He does get excited about cats and chases them.

Barney is gentle, easy going, a nice dog to walk on a leash. He has good potty manners. He is very smart, he learned to use a doggy door to take himself in and out as needed by just watching the other dogs.We believe he is part poodle. He has the light, delicate build and face of that breed. Barney is 14 inches tall and weighs about 18 pounds.
Barney has just the most wonderful new Mom, who felt an instant connection with this great boy, residing happily in Seattle, WA

I watched as my Mommy got sick, and one day, she was gone, I searched and searched for her, but she is now waiting for me to join her one day. Her family did not love me enough to take care of me, and they put me in such a scary place, I was shivering and so scared, I wanted to just join my Mom, but it isn't my time, I still have so much love to give someone, I want my own Mom or Dad again, I love to be by you, cuddle and be your best friend, I am gentle, kind, and loving...with just enough of the terrier spirit to put a smile on your face...is there someone out there, with room in their heart, to let me live out the rest of my life, I promise you will love me...and I will be devote myself to you...

Cooper is a lovely, loving boy; he's large for a MinPin at 20lbs. Cooper comes often to give kisses and get pets. He gets along well with most people (though he warms up a bit faster with women than with men). He loves playing with other dogs no matter how big and would love to have a doggy brother or sister to play with in his new home.

Cooper lost his home because his Mom’s job took her to New York. He was very bonded to his mom and going into foster care was very hard for Cooper. He was very depressed for a while but seems to be coming out of it and is now doing well in his foster home.

Cooper was bought at a pet store at 4 months of age, which means he missed a lot of important imprinting and socialization. He does know some basic commands and has learned to tolerate being crated but he really prefers to sleep under the covers of your bed or on the couch next to you. He is doing well with his house training and loves to run out into he yard with the other dogs. He does not like riding in cars as he gets carsick. Like most one year olds he still needs work on leash training and manners (like not jumping up). He would really benefit from obedience classes and if you want to do agility this boy would excel at it.
Cooper is going to make an awesome loving companion for the owners who want to take the time to continue to bring this wonderful boy along.
