I'm one lucky lil girl, I came in with Clyde, Lady, Bobby, Arlo, Longfellow (pictures of these three not available yet) Marmalade, Charlie, Ralph and Ronny...we all hit the same flight CA-Seattle, can you imagine, these frantic Furbaby volunteers, 2 women, carting 10 crates, and than to open and see what treasures were inside...well, I came bouncing out, said "hi rotten climate here" and walked all four paws into everyone's heart...I did that on purpose you know...so everyone wanted to foster me, cause well, look at me, too cute, but I am cute in all ways, I want your lap, I want to snuggle with you, and I just want to be whatever you want me to be, just tons of love, and boy am I a keeper...
My foster Mom, had to get my teeth done, "some yucky molars"....and now I am ready for a permanent home...and I think I will find one soon.

Poppy has been living with a great lady and her Mom in Oregon for about a year. Her Mom does not feel that she is giving Poppy the time and love that Poppy needs so after much soul searching she has decided to have her placed for adoption. This has been a very difficult decision for this woman and not one that she takes lightly. She truly loves this little furbaby and only wants her to be happy.

My name is Cherish and I really do cherish life. You see thanks to so many great people I was given a second chance at being a happy and healthy furbaby.

I was dumped at a shelter in Washington and I had really bad teeth, infected ears and a HUGE tumor on by posterior. All these things never stopped me from being a happy little girl though because I just knew that there would be someone that would come along and see all the LOVE I had to give and would help me. I was so correct, they came and whisked me away to the NICEST Vet Office and they did some surgery and gave me lots of drugs and NOW I have GOOD ears, NO posterior tumor and well, I lost lots of teeth, but I still eat dry food like a CHAMP and do I ever feel better ALL OVER!! Oh by the way, my tumor was just a bad infection, so I now eat low-fat wet food with my dry food and all is great.

My foster Mom, Wende says that I was used for making babies and that went I got sick they had no use for me any more. I really can't understand why they could not just make me better, like Wende and all these great people have done. I tried with all my might to make pretty babies but I guess I was just not good enough for them to invest some money in. I bet I made them lots of money with all my babies, shouldn't I have had some in a Retirement Account? Oh well, life goes on and I am now in a MUCH better place.

Now, I am at a foster home in Portland, OR with all these other furbabies and do we ever have fun. We run and play and wreck havoc all day long. There is an American Eskimo furbaby here who is a real instigator and he loves to boss us around but we keep putting him in his place. I myself am a bit on the quieter side, but that is because I am a very proper Cocker Spaniel and very feminine.
