This wonderful, kind endearing little boy found his home quickly...residing with a kind older gentleman in Fall City, WA
(Adopted June 1/07)

Hello everyone! My name is Pee Wee. I am a great little dog looking for a permanent, responsible loving home.
I was surrendered to Furbaby Rescue because my previous guardians said I was not trainable... oh, how they were misinformed! I am a great dog who LOVES to learn! I just needed the right person to understand how us Chi's work! You see, we are very smart dogs, but need alot of patience and motivation.. for me that's a calm attitude and cheese!
I have recently been neutered and have access to a doggie door at my foster homes house and am doing great! No potty problems at all since my neuter surgery. I will need a home who can either take me out often or has a doggie door to a fenced yard. We have a very small bladders and can't hold it all day like big dogs. This is normal for small dogs.
I am learning all my basic commands like sit, wait and come. Come was a hard one for me at first.... you see, when I did not come to someone before you can tell I was chased and that makes the problem worse! My foster parents are dog trainers so I get lessons all day long!
I am great with other dogs and cats (although I tried to chase a cat at my foster home.... that did not go well for me, I think I learned my lesson. Darn Bossy Cat.)
I am good with calm children and comfortable around people who understand Chi and our personalities.
I love to wrestle and
would enjoy a home with another small dog who enjoys playing. Like all
Chi I insist on sleeping under the covers or blanket. I enjoy wearing
clothes so fashion victims encouraged to apply!

Eddie does very well with all the resident Schnauzer's, mini and Standards...he is housetrained. When you meet Eddie, he comes across a little strong, but if you just relax, and let him come to you, he does just fine. He is fantastic with his foster Mom, but tentative with the foster Dad.
Eddie lives happily in Custer, WA

"The Tale of Two Dogs
Father and Daughter"
These two wonderful and amazing babies were living in a trailer of a semi-truck. These wonderful dogs were not abused, neglected or mistreated...circumstances and bad luck happened..the owner lost her home, we do not know the whole story, only we are so glad we could help these furbabies, and give some peace of mind to the owner.
These two will ONLY be adopted together. They are like two ferrets playing. They run together, eat together, and wherever one goes the other is not far behind. They are not fussy eaters, when they eat, they share each bowl, alternating from one to the other. They like to dig in the dirt and roll and play in the grass They love to run and chase each other. They like to chase stuffed toys and chew on rawhide. They get along with other dogs in their foster home and are accustomed to being crated.
They have had a few accidents in the house, so need a bit of retraining in that area.
These are two VERY good natured little doxies and typical of the long haired dachshunds that are easy going and happy dogs. They look very much alike, as you can see, very hard to tell apart. They are black and tan but the tan is very dark, almost chocolate. Extremely pretty babies. They love to give kisses. Long haired doxies don't generally sleep under the covers like their short haired counterparts and these two have been sleeping in their crate at night. They would prefer to sleep on the people bed but are fine in their crates.
These two would make wonderful companions for someone special, as they are special. They know tricks, roll over, sit and afew other things. They DO NOT do well with young children or cats. They are not threatened by unfamiliar guests and do not jump all over them either. They are a FUN FUN pair.
They also MUST have a SECURE fenced yard.

Gosh, my foster home tells me I am so pretty, and I am, with my gorgeous white coat. They call me Betty-Jane, but I respond to B.J. Not only am I pretty, I am a sweetheart. I can be a bit shy sometimes, and I get overwhelmed if there are too many dogs around..but I am a darling, I am good natured, and when I crawl into your arm, I will nuzzle you deeply. I am so happy to be by your side, or close to you. Sometimes I get a little barky with noises, but I shhh easily...I will be just a wonderful friend to a special home. I had a good home once, but I was given away, and they really did not want me, so they sent me to the shelter. I was so scared there, they called rescue to come and help me. Once I got out of that scary place, my true beautiful nature, inside and out showed through.
I can be a little bit apprehensive when I meet strangers in the home, but within a few minutes I show my sweet self.

Hi, I am Amos, and I am a DOLL..cute as a button, with a personality to match. I love to play with another dog (perhaps I am looking for Andy) I love chews, toys, love my foster Mom and Dad...playful, but not hyper. Housetrained, my list of good qualities is long...I don't though like to be crated...no need to crate me, I am not destructive..I love to sit on the couch with you, cuddle with you, when you sleep..I am a happy well adjusted lil boy, looking for the perfect home...so if you are out there, apply for me soon, I am a KEEPER....
Delighted with the wonderful and caring home, that this absolutely great boy has...residing in Victoria, B.C. Canada

is a beautiful curly blonde girl with freckles on her nose. She came into rescue
after she was given to a family who could not take care of her. She loves her person
and asks nothing more than a home and person of her own to protect and guard.
She loves car rides and walks. She is house broken and loves to cuddle up
next to you while you watch TV. She would love to sleep on the bed with you but
listens when you tell her to move to a doggy bed next to the bed. Because she
had been made to stay outside in her old home she was hesitant at first to go
outside but when she realized she could come in whenever she wanted she happily
ran out to patrol the yard with the other dogs.
has seizures which seem to be controlled by medication. Daisy’s seizures
happen when she is under stress, such as when she was in a home with a lot of
loud noise (yelling, fighting, TV blaring) and a lot of people coming and going
or when she has to deal with major life changes (like going to a new home).
Because of this we would like to find a quiet home with some dog experience for
this sweet loving girl.

Joey is a gorgeous red brindle. His red is a beautiful mahogany. These pictures DO not do him justice.
He is a fun little guy. Joey would love to have another doggie to play with. He likes all toys and loves to run outside and play. He likes small animals…but not rodent size animals, (prey drive may kick in here) and people. He is mostly housebroken and has been crated. While in foster care he has not been crated as he likes to sleep on or in the big people bed. He will act antsy and go to the door when he wants to go out. He does not seem to bark much but will if left alone all day in an apartment, so this is not the situation for him. He walks fairly well on the leash. He is an escape artist so a secure yard is a must. Perhaps some extensive training and lots of exercise might curb the desire to run off. He has been a free feeder and will not sit and eat all his dinner at one time. He is on a food for sensitive skin as he had some skin irritation due to allergies or fleas. He has been on Program for fleas. He has a beautiful shiny soft coat and is very healthy. He is active and that is keeping him slim but not so active that he would not fit in a normal household. Lovely dog.

Lucy is looking for a new forever home where she can be
spoiled as a darling lil Poodle should be! She has a
wonderful loving personality and craves being held and
snuggled by her human.
Lucy walks well on a leash, likes car rides and is
housebroken if you are consistent with taking her outside
for potty breaks. She is also crate trained and will
sleep quietly through the night. However, she prefers to
sleep cuddled right up next to you. Lucy loves to play
with other dogs and is a very social lil girl. A buddy
similar in size and breed will be best for her. Due to
her tiny size, she will need an adult only home.

Are you looking for a loyal and loving companion? Look no further... I'm Kenny an extremely attentive little guy with a heart of gold.
I am happy doing what ever you want me to...play, snuggle, walkies... you name it, I'm your man!
I am very quiet and settle quickly at night- I enjoy sleeping with you or in my own bed.
I can be shy when we first meet, especially to men. My previous family surrendered me to a high kill shelter saying I snapped at them... my foster family has not seen this behavior in me at all, as they gave me the patience I deserved. I have shown them that I am a good boy who just needed to trust someone.
I am potty trained, crate trained and absolutely love other dogs. I could be an only dog, but would much rather live in a home where I could have a playmate. Big dog or little dog, its ok by me!
At my foster home I use my doggie door like a champ!
I have never been shown any formal obedience, so my foster family is teaching me the basics...
I am great with cats, but kids scare the be-jeebies out of me, so an adult home with no children or grandchildren is best for me.
Kenny has a new sister dog sweetheart, and a wonderful new Mom, residing in Bellingham, WA
