Buffy-Marie
Pomeranian
Female/spayed/shots current
App. 4-5 years old
9 lbs
Do you want to meet Ms.
Personality, well meet Buffy, she is an awesome lil girl, full of spirit, love
and fun..beware she will work her way into your heart in minutes..she loves to
make herself noticed, if you go out and come home, she will make it known you
left her, and pay attention to her, and the greatest gift you can now give her,
is to pick her up, and carry her. She is an absolutely delightful girl..her
spirit inspires you, her love for her people is very dedicated. Buffy suffers
from allergies, I put her on raw diet when she came, and in no time, she stopped
scratching, and can now enjoy life...after this, I put her on Natural Balance,
Duck and Potato, and she continues to do well, soon she will have her beautiful
Pom coat back, and be as cute as cute can be...but what is really endearing
about her, is not what she looks like now, but who she is..one of the greatest
Pom's I have had the pleasure of fostering...she will be a fantastic companion
to the right dedicated home. Buffy is 4-5 years old, and weighs 9 lbs...watch
out, she will have her paws wrapped around your heart really quickly. Oh this
sweetheart wrapped her paws alright, right into the heart of a great family,
Mom, Dad and teenage daugher..they adore her, and can not imagine life without
her, residing happily in Portland, Oregon

ToTo (nka Joey)
Yorkshire Terrier/Poodle
Male/neutered/shots current
App. 15 months old
9 lbs
*sadly Joey passed to the bridge in 2011*
Toto is a very sweet boy, once he knows you, he becomes inseparable and really
only wants to be by his person. He will do better if he has a home where
someone can be around a bit. He obviously was an only dog, but is getting
used to living with them, and will now play and is learning a lot by living with
other dogs.. it is important to
have a Mom or Dad or both to dote on him. He does at this time get anxious
when left, his foster Mom, is slowly crate training him, and he is doing much
better when he has to be left alone. He will be a completely devoted
companion. Toto found his forever home with two great parents in White
Rock, B.C. Canada
(Adopted May 21/05)
Tricot
Cockapoo
Female/spayed/shots current
4 years old
21 lbs
*dear Tricot (nka Trixie) passed away
Nov/13*
Tricot has lost her home, twice , first she lost it because of moving, divorce etc. Than she found a great home, with two very caring ladies. After about 6 weeks into the adoption, she and the resident female Lhasa, were having fights. It is not 100 % sure, that they were all Tricot's fault. I believe in this time, Tricot was now feeling secure, and decided she was to be the leader. This situation may have been solved, if the owners were more dog experienced. Tricot lives here with 6 other dogs, male and female, and I do not find any issues, and she listens well to me. She may do best as an only dog, or with a male dog, since she spent an entire afternoon with a male border collie and never stopped playing. With people she is very loving and devoted. She loves men and women equally, and is a very sweet girl. She may also do better not in an apartment, unless someone is home most of the time, she is not fond of being alone...
She is a great companion for the right home.
Tricot now lives with a wonderful Mom, who knows how to work with this great
girl, and the sweetest older male Chow, plus a few cats...so this girl has quite
the life ahead of her...residing happily in Everson, WA

Gulliver
Maltese/Pekinese
Male/neutered/shots current
8-9 years old?
12 lbs
Would you like a gardening partner? cause I love to wander around the yard,
happy as can be, sniffing the world, and watching it go by, or I will be your
lap buddy, your bed buddy, your footrest, I will be or do whatever you want, I
am so easy going, non demanding, I take life in stride, and if you want to
"squeeze the Charmin", I should be the poster child for that, I am so
soft, and huggable, the only time I make noise, and part of my peke ancestry
becomes apparent, is my lil barks and woos to try entice a dog to play with
me. While I can see you with my eyes, and your eyes will touch my heart, I
am unable to hear you, yes, I am deaf, but please do not let that deter you it
only makes you want to take care of me even more, I am just so adorable..(p.s.
that is a bacon treat in my mouth I decided to hang onto) Gully traveled from
Idaho, to Seattle, to Bellingham, and right back to Kent, WA..I think he
deserves the name Gulliver...right into the arms of two lovely Moms, and their
active poodle mix...Gully adds a charm and calm to their lives, that only he
could provide...thank you ladies for giving this special boy a great home.

Della
Chihuahua X
Female/spayed/shots current
App. 18 months old
12 lbs
I sure fooled everyone, I came into foster care, pretending I was shy, demure
and tentative around the dogs...hehehehehe..now I want you to know "That
Girls Just Want To Have Fun" I think
they made that song for me, cause I just wanna have fun, is there a doggie who
would like to play with me? or I can just run, around the house, playing, and if
I am not doing that, watch out, cause I am in your lap, covering you with
kisses, my tail wagging so hard, it looks like a helicopter ready to take
off...and if all of that doesn't get you, just look into my doe like face, and
my eyes, will melt you and for housetraining, well I think I am getting the hang
of that, I was just scared to go out, and now I am not...so doing real good
there, so just have a little patience, and I will be fine...you won't regret
having me in your life, I am a keeper.
Della has a great new Mom and Dad, happily residing in Sudden Valley, WA
(Adopted June 7/05)
Boris
Schnauzer X
Male/neutered/shots current
App. 8-9 years old
10 lbs
Darling Boris, is a very easy going boy, he gets along with other dogs, loves to
be around his person, appears housetrained...just a sweet endearing soul.
Boris has had full medical, teeth cleaned, lost a few, from all tests, and
bloodwork, he is perfectly healthy, except he does have cataracts, and slightly
dry eye, which he is getting drops every day for...other than that, he is in
pretty good shape...
My groomer feels he is all Schnauzer, but his foster Mom, who is very involved
with Schnauzer's says his ear set is wrong, and a couple of other things that
she feels he is a mix...whatever he is, he is adorable...
And a wonderful couple found him adorable, the lap baby they wanted, he has a
gorgeous poodle sibling...and is adored, residing in Anacortes, WA

Popeye
Miniature Pinscher
Male (soon to be neutered) shots current
2-3 years old
15 lbs
Hello Ladies!!!! Single red male looking for that special lady to worship. This boy is happiest following his lady around the house, snuggling on the couch, with you in charge of the remote, and taking walks. His ideal date night would be attending obedience class where he will learn how to be a sophisticated gentleman and get more socialized.
Popeye is a stunning 2 year old, 15 lb, docked male miniature pinscher. He has done well with the resident minpins and cats. Has shown no food aggression and appears housebroken. He is a sensitive boy that would do best in a quieter household with lots of positive reinforcement. He is crushed if you yell at him or are unhappy with him.
Typical of the breed he is reserved with strangers, is protective of his owner and does bark so apartment living is not for him.
With love, patience and a little training he is going to be an absolute treasure.
Popeye is now living with a gentleman, who adores this breed, and loves him totally, residing in Portland, Oregon
(Adopted June 4/05)

Honey
Cairn Terrier
Female spayed/shots current
App. 4-5 years old
14 lbs
Small little girl, she looks like a little blond fox.
Sweet little Honey is a bit timid, but is a velcro dog once she decides you're a terrific person. She truly only wants to be on your lap or by you. She's quiet, well-mannered, gets along with other dogs, hardly makes a sound and is housetrained. She has beautiful brown eyes and isn't afraid to look right at you as she asks to get up in your lap. She will not tolerate cats at all. We have heard that Honey is a terrific mouser so you don't need a cat, anyway!
Honey was found under a
bush, starving and on the streets, with 3 puppies. Rescued, she was
taken to the vets where she also helped to raise another litter of pups that
were rejected by their mother. This little girl truly lives up to her
name--she's sweet as honey! Foster parents adore her! You will,
too. She needs a forever friend to love.
And Honey found that forever friend, with Paula her new Mom, and adorable
Wally, her new Terrier sister...Paula is an exceptional woman, who will give
Honey a great furever home..residing in Seattle, WA
(Adopted June 15/05)
Nellie (nka Midge)
Papillion (possible mix)
Female (spay date June 13/05)/shots current
9 lbs
10-12 months old
My face shows my intelligence, and my incredible zest for life. I am very
playful, run like a gazelle, jump into your arms, and your heart very
quickly. I LOVE toys and chews, happy being with Mom or Dad, just love
attention. I like other small dogs (large dogs and cats unknown). I
am pretty good about housemanners, if you take the time to be consistent with
me. I need a secure fenced yard, as I have a very inquisitive nature, I
found the smallest opening in the fence, where I am staying, and went
exploring. I am not running away, I just want to see what is on the other side,
(I just knew there must be bigger bugs to chase) cause I quickly crawled back
under the fence, but my foster Mom said I am making her grey(er). I tend
to get barky when someone visits, and take a few minutes to befriend the stranger...just
protecting my home...so if you understand this, you will LOVE LOVE LOVE me, I am
too precious..
This precious girl, got herself a very special Mom, who also helps our rescue
dogs, a very dedicated owner, who will always take care of this girl..residing in Duvall, WA
