(Adopted 2004)
Salty and Meg
Male & Female (both altered, shots current)
Both babies have passed to the bridge:-(

Salty and Meg have been together all their lives and need to find a new home where they can continue to be together.  They had to come in to rescue because their family was split up due to a divorce and their mom couldn’t keep them anymore.  In their best interest, she gave them up for a chance at a new life.  They’ve lost the only home and family they’ve ever known and don’t want to lose each other.  Through no fault of their own, they are looking for a special home where they will be appreciated and loved.

They are such a perfect pair!  I can’t say enough good things about the both of them.  Loving, sweet and playful----they will enrich your life a hundred fold.  They are both in great health except that Salty needs drops in his eyes on a daily basis for “dry eye”.

Salty is approx. 10 years old and is a big boy weighing in at 23 lbs.  He loves to sit by you and just be loved and petted.  He is a sweetheart that will melt your heart!  He is the one that will listen as you tell him your secret hopes and dreams.  He gives his kisses freely and will be your shadow.

Meg is approx. 9 years old and is the smaller of the two at 18 lbs.  One look from those big brown eyes and you’ll be hooked.  A sweet, precious little girl that wants to give love as much as be loved.  She is in perfect health and loves to play with squeaky toys and balls.  She will “wave” and talk to you when she wants some special playtime.

They both love to go for walks and play with toys.  They are housetrained and never hesitate to go outside.  What more could anyone ask for? Foster mom and dad took them to a family gathering for Thanksgiving where they played with the kids, got “cuddles” from the adults and, in general, were the “hit” of the party!  If you are looking for the perfect addition to your family, won’t you please think about Salty and Meg?  They will both love you with all their hearts and you will never regret taking them into your heart and home.   They promise!
These babies were rehomed to two absolutely wonderful ladies, living in Seattle, WA

(Adopted Jan. 24/04)
Mops
Male/neutered/shots current
4 years old
26 lbs
With deep regret, in Dec/05, Mops went into cardiac arrest, and the vet was not able to revive him...he is deeply missed by his Mom, and his best friend Elton

Mops is one of the most stunning Lhasas, big gorgeous eyes, a very striking boy.  Mops is wonderful with other dogs, housetrained, but to be the right companion he needs a home who understands Lhasas, he is very affectionate, and loves to be petted, curl in your lap, and stare at you with those eyes that can melt your heart.  He does have Lhasattuide, when he does not want affection, or does not want you to bug him, he will let you know, and he is firm about this and will growl, his home needs to  be as stubborn and willful as him.  He went to spend a few days in a great home with cats, but Mops avidly went after them..he needs an adult home only. Mops was a very lucky boy, to go to one of my favorite adopters, Marilyn, he now has two brothers Elton and Gizzie...and will be very well cared for, residing in SeaTac, WA

Putter
Male neutered/shots current
16 lbs

Wrap your arms around me, take me into your bed, never leave me, and I will be your forever friend, my heart is big, my love is strong, I want to be by your side, I want so very little, and in return I will be your very best friend, I am kind and caring...I will do whatever you want, but just please love me, I had love once, but my memory of that is dim, I ache for your touch, your smile, your acknowledgement that I am important...I am such a special boy that deserves a very dedicated home...I am a Lhasa, but my heart is that of an untainted kitten...I am gentle and loving...and why did they lock me in the basement, why did they forget about me,  am I not worthy of a life of happiness and love...my caretakers were in their late 80's..and they thought I needed nothing, but I needed so much....
My foster Mom adores me, and with that I will only go to a home who understands the dedication it takes to make me happy, and you will be happy also when you met me...I really adore men, and love women...so if you think you can spoil me, than contact Furbaby...but don't even ask for me, if you are not totally committed to giving me the life I should have always had...

Putter is now adored as I wanted, living a wonderful life with a very gracious lady and her husband in Sequim, WA

(Adopted May 7/04)
Lappy
Male/neutered/shots current
App. 2 years old
19 lbs

I want you to look into my face, you will see one of the most wonderful Lhasas, now read my story, this story is one that is so common, everyday one of us loses his or her life, because people do not make provisions, in case they die...my family died, I was taken to the shelter along with my mate, my best friend, we had just lost our family, they threw us in a cage, and we were terrified...so they "temperament" tested us, they took my girlfriend away, she never returned, and now my turn, they "killed" my friend, and said I acted grumpy, my life was to be ended, but in the nick of time, rescue came forward.....and what has rescue found out about me, that I am probably the sweetest Lhasa that ever was, I have no Lhasatude...I know I am a terrier, but forgot I am a Lhasa, I greet people, I love everyone, I am housetrained...I am wonderful...and yet they would have "killed" me....whoever adopts me will be a very lucky family.  I would love to have a playmate, another dog of my size, I request no small children, since I have not lived with them....
Lappy has a wonderful new Dad, who has always been owned by this wonderful breed, residing in Seattle, WA

(Adopted May 8/04)
Cody
Male/neutered/shots current
5 years old
21 lbs
"sadly Cody succumbed to Cushing's Disease and with the greatest regret left for the bridge Nov.12"

Cody is the reason I adore Lhasas, he is loving, smart, kind, inquisitive, with that devilish impishness about him, that totally embraces you to this breed. Cody was brought up by a wonderful man, who released him to rescue because of illness..Cody has been to obedience, but he will stare at you with his wonderful puppy eyes, and pretend he doesn't know what you are saying, and watch out, or you will give in...he is just a magnificent furbaby...he loves all people.  He is fine with other dogs, but in his previous life he was picked on by another dog, so he does not like a dog to approach him from behind.  Here in my home he simply has no issues with the dogs, as they are not trying to attack or hurt him...he loves to toss toys, he must be allowed to sleep in your bed...he is a jewel to be treasured...
Cody is adored, by a great couple, who treat their beloved pets, as their children, Cody now lives with Oliver, the Lhasa with tude, and Abbey, a gorgeous Aussie mix...he could not have been luckier, and Scott if you ever read this, I want you to know that your boy, found the home you would have wished for...residing happily in Snohomish, WA
